Does Beuna Vista issue ISO certificates?
No. We are a consultancy. ISO certificates are issued only by certification bodies, and for a certificate to carry weight the certification body should be accredited. We help you get ready and you choose the certification body independently.
How can I check whether an ISO certificate is genuine?
Ask for the name of the certification body and its accreditation body, then check the certificate in the certification body's online register. Many accredited certificates can also be checked on IAF CertSearch (iafcertsearch.org). If a certificate cannot be verified with the issuing body, treat it with caution.
How long does implementation take?
It depends on the size of the organisation, the number of sites and standards, and how much is already in place. For many small and mid-sized organisations a single standard takes a few months from gap assessment to certification readiness. We give you a realistic timeline after the gap assessment.
How much does it cost?
Fees depend on scope: the standards involved, the number of sites and employees, and the level of support you want. After a short discussion we send a written proposal with a fixed scope and fee.
Can you implement more than one standard together?
Yes. Quality, environment and health and safety are often combined into one integrated management system, and information security or energy can be added later. An integrated system usually means less paperwork and one internal audit programme instead of several.
How do we choose a certification body?
Look for a certification body accredited by an accreditation body that is a signatory to the IAF Multilateral Recognition Arrangement, such as NABCB in India. Check that its accreditation covers your industry sector, and compare audit days, travel costs and the experience of its auditors in your sector.
Do you work online?
Yes. Documentation, training and many review meetings work well online. Gap assessments and internal audits are usually more effective on-site, and we plan a mix that suits you.
We are already certified but the system feels like paperwork. Can you help?
Yes. We review the existing system, remove what adds no value, strengthen what the auditor keeps raising, and help you prepare for surveillance and recertification audits.
What happens when a standard is revised?
Certification bodies set a transition period for moving to a new edition. We carry out a gap assessment against the new edition and help you update the system well before the deadline.
Do participants receive a training certificate?
Yes, participants receive a certificate of participation from Beuna Vista. We do not run registered Lead Auditor certification courses.
How do you handle our confidential information?
We use your information only for the engagement, sign non-disclosure agreements on request and do not name you as a client without your written consent.
